Real-life speaking: how to be understood in a short exchange

Short answer: In real life you need to be understood, not perfect. In a short exchange such as Can I have a juice, please? / How much is it? / Here you are. Thank you!, focus on four things: clear stress on key words, clear final consonants, weak small words and a friendly voice. Speak at a calm pace and repeat if you are not understood.
