If you are not sure where to begin, follow this plan. 10–15 minutes a day, five days a week, using only free content. Each week has a screen-free game and a question to check progress. Every child has their own pace: taking an extra week is completely normal.

Ground rules

  • 10–15 minutes a session; stop while it is still fun.
  • Sit with your child at least for the first session each week.
  • The WHO recommends no more than one hour of screen time a day for children aged 2 to 4, and less is better.
